Restoration of a Georgian garden
The brief was to redesign the garden in sympathy with the architecture of the building. Creating a simple,classical garden that would look as if it had been designed with the original house.

A country garden with ancient apple trees
The brief was to create a terraced area to sit, without disturbing the ancient apple trees. Maintaining a balance between the grandeur of the property and the natural landscape beyond.

A mediterannean courtyard.
The brief was to create a stone courtyard that would be appropriate to use all year round. Incorporating water and grand stone plinths gave the garden an imposing structure that would carry the style throughout the winter months.

A Family garden in Ormskirk.
The new conservatory extension required the design of steps and a deck to manage the levels down to the main garden. The lower end of the garden was disused- so a topiary courtyard garden with a summerhouse was designed to create a second seating area at the bottom of the garden .

Contemporary courtyard garden , North Yorkshire
The brief for this garden was to create a modern, outdoor room for relaxing and entertaining. The challenge was to create a feeling of privacy, disguise the narrow "corridor" shape of the area and bring the tranquillity of water into the space.

Modern Corner Garden, West Yorkshire.
This new garden was designed to reclaim the sloping land and maximise the use of space around the house. Individual seating areas were designed to link the different levels together, but allowing for different viewpoints across the surrounding countryside.
